What can Simplecash do?

Simplecash can be integrated on any application or website to perform operations such as charging a user, starting subscriptions or invoicing via email.

How does it work?

For Charges, subscriptions and invoices, Simplecash is a RESTful API and can be used simply by making calls to an endpoint with your store API key. For other features such as analytics, you can use the dashboard.

Is it safe to use?

When creating a store, you'll be asked to provide a BCH address. This means you are solely responsible for your funds and that nobody, including Simplecash, has control over your wallet.

How much does it cost?

You can consult our pricing page. We are planning to create a Pro version with much more features and a fixed subscription with no deduction, as well as a free, self-hosted version, depending on the community needs.

Charges

You can charge a user by calling the /charge endpoint. The API will return a unique url and the user will be redirected to our pay subdomain to pay. When done, the user will be redirected to a page you specified and will optionally receive a receipt. In a future release, if the user asked for a receipt, it is possible for him/her to directly ask the store for a refund using our upcoming refund feature.

Campaigns

Coming soon

You will soon be able to launch donation and crowdfunding campaigns using Bitcoin Cash directly on Simplecash. It will only require an account as it is not meant to be used over the REST API. The campaign pages will display interesting analytics and numbers, and the donators will even have the ability to record on-chain memos.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions can be started by calling the /sub/create endpoint. The API will return a unique url and the user will be redirected to our pay subdomain in order to manage his subscription while being debited on a regular interval. The user can cancel a subscription at any time by retracting his funds from the wallet acting as a middleman. The store owner can also periodically check if a subscription is active using /sub/check.

SLP Tokens

The Bitcoin Cash ecosystem is large and cannot be complete without SLP tokens. You can now perform charges operations using SLP tokens such as USDH, SPICE or HONK by using the /charge_slp endpoint. Your BCH address will be automatically converted to a simpleledger address. Support for tokens can be added on demand.

invoices

You can send email invoices to your users by using the /invoice endpoint. The user will then receive the invoice with a timeout to pay. You'll receive the funds as soon as the payment period ends. The user will receive a receipt after the operation is settled. If something goes wrong, the user will be automatically refunded.

In-store platform

Q1 2021

We know Bitcoin Cash can be widely used in e-commerce but we also believe adoption within physical merchant is very important. This is why we are already working on a platform for physical stores and merchants providing advanced tools such as fraud-detection (using machine-learning), offline payments and instant sms-receipts. We're calling it Simplecash IRL.

... and a lot more to come!
